CEBU, Philippines, June 27, 2012 – Leading telecommunications provider PLDT officially launched its first data center to operate outside of Luzon with VITRO Data Center in Cebu.

Housed in the PLDT Compound in Mandaue City, the third facility in the VITRO network of data centers will benefit enterprise businesses based in Cebu and other provinces in the Visayas region by providing full information and data management and telecommunication services.

Aside from the security that will be provided by these services, businesses will also be able to minimize costs in running and managing their own information systems.
