The Company also donated painting, construction and school materials in some schools in Davao, Cagayan, Tarlac, and Pampanga.
Since 2005, PLDT, has been an advocate of DepEd’s Brigada Eskwela program. “PLDT has always been a purveyor of quality education that enables today’s youth to pursue learning within a better environment,” said PLDT ComRel Head Katherine P. Diaz De Rivera.
With the theme “Pagkakaisa Para sa Handa, Ligtas at Matatag na Paaralan Tungo sa Magandang Kinabukasan”, Brigada Eskwela is a National Schools Maintenance Week that aims to bring together all education stakeholders to participate and contribute their time, effort, and resources to prepare public school facilities for the opening of the school year.
