It’s another year for the City of Pines as it transforms into the City of Flowers. Baguio holds the Panagbenga festival as a tribute to its abundant flower harvest and traditional spirit of community involvement.
Baguio’s Panagbenga Festival is one of the most spectacular and much awaited month-long celebration as it embraces the season of flowers. The festival is a well-attended celebration where thousands of tourists and locals travel to Baguio to witness the creativity and culture of the city. On the festival’s 24th year, the country’s leading telco and digital services provider PLDT once again joined the celebration to bring forth an enriching experience like never before.
“We are continuously bringing the Panagbenga Festival in the forefront of the country’s tourism efforts as we enrich every festivalgoer’s experience. Every year, the festival just keeps on getting better as more and more attendees come and watch the grand parade – locals and tourists, alike,” said PLDT Consumer Experience Zone Head John Gerald Marasigan.
“In PLDT, we have always encouraged the Philippine arts and culture within our own company transformation as we contribute to its flourishing. It is truly an awesome privilege to be a part of such truly abundant and colorful celebration such as the Panagbenga Festival in the beautiful City of Baguio,” said PLDT Community Relations (ComRel) Head Katherine Diaz P.
